Young Artist Award Competition
Support the arts in Montgomery County. Please consider becoming a sponsor of the 2013 Young Artist Award Competition. Now in its 10th year, the competition and concert offer developmentally enriching performance experiences to instrumental and vocal musicians between the ages of 12 and 18. Co-sponsored by the Kentlands Community Foundation and the city of Gaithersburg, it is quickly taking its place among the top competitions for young musicians in our area. This year more than 90 teens will compete in four categories!
Students will participate in the instrumental and vocal competitions on February 2, 2013. Then, a concert featuring the top prize winners will be held on Saturday, March 16, at the Rosborough Cultural Arts Center in Gaithersburg.
