The Course

This USATF certified 5K course winds and rolls through the new urbanist communities of Kentlands and Lakelands of Gaithersburg, giving participants the chance to experience the unique design of these award-winning neighborhoods. Modest hills make the course somewhat challenging, but not difficult for novice runners and walkers. The course also features live entertainment and two (2) water stops along the way!

Please note: The course map designates areas where Kentlands residents, Lakelands residents and guests will not be able to park or drive on Race Day. Please see the Race Course Map for parking and road access restrictions. Cars left on the course after 6 am on Race Day will be towed at the owner's expense, and local residents will have limited access to the roadways between 6 am-10 am, depending on where they reside, on Race Day morning.
