CORRIDOR CITIES TRANSITWAY (CCT) PRESENTATION

 JULY 14TH-7PM-LAKELANDS CLUBHOUSE

PRESENTER IS RICK KIEGEL, PROJECT MANAGER FOR CCT. HE WILL BE PRESENTING AN OVERVIEW AND STATUS OF THE PROJECT AND HOW THE CCT WOULD SERVE AND AFFECT LAKELANDS AND KENTLANDS COMMUNITIES, PLUS THE PROJECT SCHEDULE.

 

The CCT is a study of the 14 mile transit corridor established in Montgomery County master plans in the early 1970’s. MTA is in the final stages of completing the Alternatives Analysis phase focusing on analysis of alignment modifications to more directly serve the Gaithersburg area of the CCT Corridor. This includes proposed redevelopment of the Crown Farm property, service to the proposed Johns Hopkins Life Sciences development, and service to the Kentlands commercial district which has been identified for redevelopment by the City of Gaithersburg.
