Children's Chorus

K-2nd Grade * Mondays 4:45-5:25 p.m. * Kentlands Clubhouse

Introduce your little one to music and the joy of singing with others. $115.

Youth Chorus

Grades 3-6 * Mondays 5:35-6:30 p.m. * Kentlands Clubhouse

Children will continue to develop their ear training and vocal abilities with fun and age-appropriate repertoire that introduces them to harmony and various musical styles. $140.

NEW—Teen Glee!

Grades 7-12 * Mondays 6:45-7:45 p.m. * Kentlands Clubhouse
Sing and move to popular music and
showtunes. A fun and hip group that will
showcase singers who want to develop their
star power and shine on stage! $150.

NEW—Adult Chorus!

18 and older * Mondays 7:45-8:45 p.m. * Kentlands Clubhouse

This group is open to any adult who loves to
sing and wants to gather in a relaxed and fun
setting. We will sing traditional to popular to
musical theatre repertoire with the goal to have
a great time singing together. $140.

FAQs

Who can Join?

Everyone from the greater Gaithersburg area. All are welcome; no audition or experience necessary.

What kinds of music do we sing?

Popular, classical, Broadway, folk, jazz, holiday favorites and songs from around the world.

Do you have to know how to read music?

Children and adults will learn the basics of reading music if they don't already know, and also singing and performing from the area's finest singers and teachers, who both have masters degrees in vocal performance and star in many local theatre productions.  Our pianist is also an excellent and experienced accompanist.

Where are classes held?

Kentlands Clubhouse, 485 Tschiffely Square Road in Gaithersburg.

Does the Chorus have performances?

Yes! At the Arts Barn, Kentlands Mansion, Gaithersburg Oktoberfest, Kentlands Day, Asbury, Whole Foods Market, Washingtonian Center, Lakeforest Mall and more.

Visitors are welcome; try out a free class! Need-based financial aid is available.
