Set in 1981, 9-year-old Cáit is quietly
struggling at school and at home. She has

around her. She is sent away for the summer
from her dysfunctional family to live with
distant relatives. She blossoms in their care,
but in this house where there are meant to

an unfamiliar setting with his mom. They
have come to her late sister’s home to
pack it up and prepare it for sale. He can’t
relate well to the neighborhood kids. Things
take an unexpected turn when Cody
develops an unusual friendship with the
