“Chalk City”

Join us on Saturday, April 29^th  for the creation of a “Chalk City” on the sidewalks of the Kentlands Clubhouse. Join local artist Patti Connell with your family and friends and paint the streets with chalk!  We will learn about the different elements that make up our New Urbanist community; green spaces, narrow roads, sidewalks, houses close to one another, white picket fences, trees, lakes, condos and townhomes.  Patti will guide children and their families to draw their visions of our Kentlands community. This family-friendly activity will take place 9:30 am -12:00 at the Kentlands Clubhouse. Chalk will be provided. It is recommended for children 5 and above.
