Kentlands Under The lights is a community wide celebration that bring families and friends together to dine under the lights and stars. Based on a small town Italian tradition, this event continues to grow every year and has become a Kentlands neighborhood favorite.

Kentlands Under The Lights is a showcase of our fantastic Kentlands business community, and it really would not be possible without their strong support. Kentlands businesses are the heart and soul of our community and are a big part of making it the special place that it is – supporting them is more important than ever as our downtown springs back to life this summer. Kentlands Under the Lights is free to attend with food and drinks available for purchase.

We are thrilled to share that Kentlands Under the Lights has been recognized as a finalist in the 2025 Best of Bethesda Readers’ Poll for Annual Festival by Bethesda Magazine! This honor highlights the incredible support and enthusiasm of our community.

Join in the fun for our annual community dinner in Kentlands Market Square on Saturday, June 14 from 6 – 11:30 pm.

Beat the lines and purchase your beverage tickets before the event. The tickets are for beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages. Each $9 ticket purchase includes a $4 donation to the Foundation to help pay for this year’s event and to ensure its continuation for years to come. The event is free to all.

For a smooth experience at the event, please ensure that the drink ticket QR codes are saved on your phone. Upon arrival, visit any of the designated ticket counters to exchange your QR codes for physical drink tickets needed to purchase alcoholic drinks. At these counters, we’ll also verify your age and provide you with an alcohol wristband. For quicker service, look for the cashless ticket counters.
