FAQs for Visitors

What is the Gaithersburg Artist Collective?

The Gaithersburg Artist Collective is a not for profit juried group of fine artists and artisans, whose mission is to help bring art opportunities to the community.

The Gaithersburg Artist Collective is currently partnered with the Kentlands Community Foundation (kentlands.org).

What is Artists on Market?

Artists on Market is one of the projects of the Gaithersburg Artist Collective, a “pop-up” exhibition and sales gallery operated by members.  The space contains changing exhibits of our member’s work. It is also used for children’s art activities, periodic artist talks and workshops, charitable activities and consultations for members of the community.  The Collective functions under the auspices of the Kentlands Community Foundation.

Because Artists on Market is a pop-up gallery, our location may change from time-to-time, but our goal is to always be a vibrant part of the cultural opportunities in our community.  Please come by to say “hi.”  We are happy to talk about the Gaithersburg Artist Collective and its activities in more detail.
