Kentlands Writers
Our mission is to bring together the writers among us, and those who would like to try! We welcome all, no matter your level of experience, genre or form.
We meet at the Colonnades Library, 23 Arch Place twice a month. The 1st Monday of the month 9-11am and the 3rd Tuesday 4-6pm. This is a safe place to share your writing, gain support from fellow writers, and learn about the craft.
If you’re looking to break out of your bubble, joining a writing group may be the perfect solution.
Writing is, by nature, a very solitary activity. Unlike other jobs that allow you to socialize with coworkers, being an author means you’re usually on your own.
But participating in a group gives you the opportunity to interact with others, experience a sense of community, and gain emotional support.
