In 2024, more than 8,885 attendees joined us across cultural celebrations, volunteer opportunities, and community events. Whether coming together for a cause or simply enjoying a shared passion, our participants reflect the heart of our vibrant and connected community. Their enthusiasm and support help make every event a success, fostering a sense of belonging and shared experiences that continue to grow year after year.
Made a difference for our community in 2024
In 2024, over 350 volunteers made a difference in our community. Their passion, energy, and dedication are the backbone of our events. Whether organizing, coordinating, or lending a helping hand, our volunteers created meaningful experiences and brought neighbors together through shared purpose and service.
In 2024, thanks to the incredible support of our participants and donors, the Kentlands|Lakelands 5K Race raised $30,000. These funds were donated to eight outstanding beneficiaries that make a meaningful difference in our community through health care access, youth programs, arts initiatives, food distribution, and more. Our 2024 beneficiaries included:

Helping children attend summer camp.
Promoting health and wellness for senior athletes.
Providing essential medical care to uninsured individuals.
Offering food, transportation, and emergency assistance to local families.
Supporting arts and recreation initiatives in our community.
