Come Join Us!
The Kentlands Mah Jongg Club welcomes all experienced players who share a love of the game. A timeless and strategic tile game played in groups of four, Mah Jongg offers both challenge and camaraderie in an informal, social setting.
At this time, the group is best suited for those with prior experience with American Mah Jongg. To acquaint yourself with the game, we recommend the following websites:
“Absolute Beginner’s Guide to American Mah Jongg”. You Tube video lessons, very easy, concise, thorough.
“Mahj Life” with Michele Frizzell, well known expert on the game. A series of You Tube videos and tutorials. Michele’s website has many resources, including instructors here in Montgomery County.
“Southern Sparrow”. Excellent video series, easy to watch and understand.
