Structure of the Foundation

The Kentlands Community Foundation operates with a two-tiered leadership structure designed to support both strategic direction and hands-on program delivery. The Board of Directors provides governance, financial oversight, and long-term vision, with members drawn from the Gaithersburg | Montgomery County government, business, arts, and planning communities—as well as residents of Kentlands and Lakelands. Working alongside the Board, the Executive Staff manages daily operations, development efforts, and organizational growth. The Foundation’s Program Leads and volunteer committees coordinate and implement the diverse array of programs that bring the Foundation’s mission to life in the community.
