In 2025, over 350 volunteers made a difference in our community. Their passion, energy, and dedication are the backbone of our events. Whether organizing, coordinating, or lending a helping hand, our volunteers created meaningful experiences and brought neighbors together through shared purpose and service.

In 2025, thanks to the incredible support of our participants and donors, the Kentlands|Lakelands 5K Race raised $25,500. These funds were donated to seven outstanding beneficiaries that make a meaningful difference in our community through health care access, youth programs, arts initiatives, food distribution, and more. Our 2025 beneficiaries included:
Dolores C. Swoyer Camp Scholarship Fund
Helping children attend summer camp.
Promoting health and wellness for senior athletes.
Providing essential medical care to uninsured individuals.
Offering food, transportation, and emergency assistance to local families.
Supporting arts and recreation initiatives in our community.
Fighting hunger by redistributing food to those in need.
Strengthening community outreach and assistance programs.
From musical performances to theater and visual arts, the Kentlands Community Foundation provided a place for more than 180 artists to hone and share their art in 2025.
