Holiday Show and Reception

The Gaithersburg Artist Collective invites you to step into this festive time of year with Treasures of the Season, our annual holiday show at Artists on Market, running November 3rd, 2026 through January 17th, 2027.

Kick off the holiday season with our Meet the Artists Reception on Sunday, November 15th, from 5–8 p.m. Join us for some wine and refreshments while you browse the exhibition.  Meet local artists, see many creative gift ideas that you can choose from, and enjoy a relaxed evening at the gallery. All are welcome to attend this free event.

This exhibition offers an opportunity to shop for unique, handmade gifts while supporting some of the talented artists within the Gaithersburg creative community. For our holiday shows, as items sell, new work replaces them. You will find a selection of high-quality artwork and handcrafted gifts, from jewelry, pottery, glass and woodwork to original paintings, holiday ornaments, art kits, small-batch hand-poured candles and home fragrance items, and more. With pieces for a range of tastes and budgets, there’s something for everyone—from a small, thoughtful gift to a truly special treasure. Each visit offers something different, making Treasures of the Season worth returning to throughout the holiday season.

For those who prefer to let the recipient choose, gift cards are also available, while the gift of an art class offers yet another creative way to share the season.

Holiday gift-wrapping is available for a small donation.

Come experience the creativity of nearly three dozen local artists, discover something rare and unexpected, and make this holiday season a little more meaningful by shopping locally and giving handmade.
