In 1970s Argentina, disillusioned English teacher Tom (Steve Coogan) rescues an oil-soaked penguin named Juan Salvador from an Uruguayan beach. The charming bird becomes the school mascot and transforms the lives of students and staff, offering joy amid political turmoil.
