Using watercolors and other mixed media, we will create Splotch Monsters - imaginary beasts made from watercolor splotches. We will do some brief observational sketching, some painting, as well as some fun collaborative exercises. Participants will learn how observation can feed the imagination, and will go home with several original works of art. A few impromptu raffles will take place as well, towards the end of the session.
